心得:我很佩服作者有勇氣及下定決心透過各種管道去聯繫自己想要深入了解的人,這種單純對人的好奇心化為行動力,使作者能從各式各樣的角度看世界,成為一個有故事的人,創作的想法也源源不絕的冒出,透過追尋內在的好奇心,找回與人最真誠的對話。

關於好奇心對話的兩三句話…

  1. We are living in the golden age of curiosity, because we have the freedom.
  2. Life isn't about finding answers, its about asking questions.

  4. Take a resolution and turn it into a habit.
  5. Ideas and decisions winging all day long without rules or rigidity.

  9. Curiosity spurs me to chase my passions.
  10. Pitch ideas, strong stomach to absorb rejection and exuded a barrier.

  12. Perfectly crystalize something in a way I will never forget.
  13. Manners won't about the rules, they were about grace and hospitality.
  14. Shape the story, use curiosity to instill confidence, recontextualize movie and pitch movies.
  15. Movie producer ask: what story are we telling? what kind of movie is...? what felling are we trying to convey?
  16. Keep the nervousness at bay: work on the talk few days before not too early (avoid worry everyday).
  17. Ask questions:whats the talk supposed to be? whats the best possible vision? what do people coming to this event expect or want to hear? who is the audience? tell stories but not lectures.
  18. Introduction for conversation: this is not business with...and I don't want a job, but I would like to meet xxx for 5 mins to talk to him/her.
  19. Curiosity will conquer fear even more than bravery will.
  20. As it turns out, being different requires courage.
  21. Ask for help rather than direct it, use questions instead of marching order and transmit values.
  22. What are we missing? Marriages drifted into disconnection helped by revival of genuine curiosity.
  23. Religion: the opium of the masses, religion was designed to provide enough answers that people stopped asking questions.
  24. Internet anesthetize us instead of inspire us.
  25. Invest a little bit of effort across a wide range of time space and people confident that its the right thing todo.
  26. A name can trigger a wave of memories and each person is an adventure.
  27.   28. All of these sad goodbyes are bolstered by the reunion with your family and friends you have pictured in your head since leaving in the first place.
